The Office of the Dean of Studies is part of the Dean's Office and is concerned with the academic teaching in the faculty.

Her tasks include, among others:

• guaranteeing and developing quality in studies and teaching in the faculty
• supporting and monitoring quality processes through the Faculty Quality Officer (FQB)
• support in the planning, organization and development of programs of study offered by the faculty
• communication and exchange of ideas concerning studies and teaching, especially in close contact with students
• leading the Faculty Committee for Studies and Teaching (FKSL)
• membership in the OVGU’s Committee for Studies and Teaching (KSL)
